Fourth international seminar on Collective Intelligence at the University of Ottawa

8, 9, 10th of August, 2004

THEME:
Collective intelligence is a very broad field, with many research programs. The Ottawa seminar is concerned with the research program developed at the CI Lab of the University of Ottawa. The participants of the seminar will discuss the projection of digital information into a 3D virtual world mirroring CI processes thanks to the Digitong semantic coordinate system.

Congratulations, George. Have you been to Ottawa before ? Nice little city.

I believe Etienne has done a fair bit of work with the Canadian Federal Government on CoP, no ?

I know an interesting guy - old old friend - who works withthe Dept of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, who is quite involved with givernment-online stuff, and very interested in cop, wirearchy, etc.

Desenvolvo no Brasil, há cerca de 25 anos, estudos e pesquisa na área de cidades, autonomia e, mais recentemente, tenho estudado inteliência coletiva aplicada em projetos sociais.

Dirijo uma organização chamada Cidade Futura (www.cidadefutura.org.br)e , e integro a rede de líderes da Fundação Avina, com o projeto "Escola do Terceiro Setor". Estamos organizando, em maio de 2005, a III Conferência Sul de Responsabilidade Social, onde discutiremos Tecnologias sociais educativas aplicadas em projetos sociais, na formação de líderes, educadores e profissionais de empresas, governos e ONGs. E, a partir deste ano (2005) inciamos o projeto Universidade Social, no qual pretendo desenvolver pesquisas em profundidade nas áreas acima. Com faço para conversarmos? Tenho, infelizmente, a barreira da língua, mas estou determinado a "dominá-la", mas tenho uma um interesse ativo em desenvolver estes estudos em cooperação. Pensei até em visitá-lo no Canadá, mas quero saber da possibilidade de encontrá-lo, antes, no Brasil, e quem sabe num de nossos cursos ou Conferências em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina?
